Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Islam Teaching mobile application and web app accessible at app.islamteaching.com (the "App"), operated by Ummah IT Solutions (SMC-Private) Limited ("the Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"), with offices in Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan and Liverpool, United Kingdom.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is a free Islamic companion application providing: Qur'an reading and audio recitation with translations and transliteration, prayer times and Adhan notifications, Qibla finder, Ramadan schedules, dhikr and dua collections, tasbih counter, stories of the Prophets, Zakat calculator, nearby mosque finder, AI-powered Islamic Q&A chat, Islamic name generator, and an optional donation feature.
The App is free to download and use. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future; core religious content will remain free.
The App's content is suitable for general audiences. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App independently; younger children should use it under parental supervision. You must be at least 18 years old to make donations.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App or its content, except as permitted by law.
Qur'anic text, translations, hadith, duas, and prayer time calculations are provided with care and from recognized sources. However, translations and calculated times may contain variations or errors. Prayer times are computed estimates — verify with your local mosque, especially for fasting and prayer obligations. Nothing in the App constitutes a formal religious ruling (fatwa).
The AI Islamic Q&A chat and Islamic Name Generator produce AI-generated content for reference and educational purposes only. AI responses:
The Company is not liable for actions taken in reliance on AI-generated responses. You agree not to use AI features to generate harmful, offensive, or unlawful content.

The App, its design, branding, original content, and software are the property of Ummah IT Solutions and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Holy Qur'an is the word of Allah and is not subject to copyright; specific translations, recitation audio, and typography are used under their respective rights and licenses.
The App uses third-party services (payment processors, app stores, AI providers, map/navigation services). We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, policies, or practices of third-party services. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.
The App is provided free of charge and we aim for continuous availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Updates may be required to continue using the App.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content (including prayer times and AI responses) will be accurate or reliable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. The Company's total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have donated through the App in the preceding 12 months, or 100 USD if you have made no donation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, in which case liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan and, where applicable to UK users, the laws of England and Wales, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you have any concern or dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting us. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you retain the benefit of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it will be modified to reflect the parties' intention to the greatest extent possible, and the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Failure to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
These Terms may be made available in other languages. In case of any conflict, the original English version prevails.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice via the App or our website. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
